About

Beyond My Professional Journey

I am a family-oriented person who values meaningful relationships, an active lifestyle, and making the most of everyday moments. Born in Brazil and of Portuguese heritage, I hold dual citizenship and bring a naturally global perspective to both life and work.

Outside of technology, I prioritize health, balance, and continuous energy. Strength training, healthy habits, outdoor sports, and skateboarding—an interest I have maintained since my teenage years—are important parts of my routine. They reflect qualities that also guide my professional life: consistency, resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to keep moving forward.

My greatest source of motivation is my family. I enjoy sharing time with my wife and daughter, supporting her school activities, and staying connected with my father, siblings, extended family, godchildren, and lifelong friends.

I also appreciate simple experiences that create lasting memories: traveling, going to the cinema, exploring forests and nearby islands, gathering with friends, and enjoying good conversations around a barbecue. For me, a successful life is built on purpose, health, strong relationships, and the ability to remain present for the people who matter most.

Academic Foundation

My academic journey combines a strong technical background with structured expertise in project management and strategic delivery.

I hold a degree in Network Technology from Centro Educacional da Cidade, where my final academic project focused on Green IT and sustainable data center design. The research explored high-performance computing environments designed to reduce energy consumption through energy-efficient equipment, renewable energy sources such as solar power, optimized cooling strategies—including hot and cold aisle containment—and long-term capacity planning.

The project emphasized designing infrastructure with a five- to ten-year outlook, helping organizations anticipate future demand, avoid unnecessary expansion costs, improve operational efficiency, and reduce environmental impact. This early work reflects an interest that remains relevant today: connecting technology performance, business sustainability, and responsible resource management.

After completing my degree, I pursued a Postgraduate Program in Project Management at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), one of Brazil’s most respected educational institutions. The program strengthened my ability to apply project management principles, governance, planning, risk management, and stakeholder coordination to complex business environments. FGV’s Project Management postgraduate program is designed to develop capabilities for planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling projects in line with organizational objectives.
Throughout the program, I developed and presented projects involving IT, software, data centers, infrastructure, high-scalability platforms, and mission-critical environments. This academic foundation reinforced the combination that defines my professional approach: technical depth, disciplined execution, strategic perspective, and a continuous focus on sustainable value creation.
